York holds a very special place in my heart which is why I love it most of all the towns and cities I frequent when I am working as a wedding singer in Yorkshire. I studied performing arts at the University of York St. John and lived in various districts of the city. I now visit there frequently to play various venues and busk on the beautiful cobble streets. It is, in my opinion, one of the most perfect places to get married in Yorkshire and possibly even the whole of the UK.

Yorkshire is such a huge place as is the beautiful ancient city of York. I have been a wedding singer in York for many brides and grooms but by far my favourite venue is Skipbridge Country Weddings. Based just outside of the ring road on the way to York, Skipbridge Country Weddings boasts a gorgeous farm complete with pagoda, whiskey shack and hobbit hole. My style of music throughout the day is well suited to a venue like this because I have the ability to move across a venue with my battery powered amplifier. Wedding Venues, York
Along with Skipbridge Country Weddings I have been a wedding singer in York at several other prestigious venues. Particular favourites of mine are The Middleton Hotel, The Parsonage and The York Maze. I highly recommend the York Maze for it’s quirkiness. It has a large barn and fields where the wedding party can go glamping. Be quick to book however because they only hold weddings for three months in the year before the maze grows and is open to the public. If you would like to see me play in York before you book you can often find me at The Botanist on Stonegate or on the streets of York busking in the Shambles, Coney Street or in St. Helen’s Square.
